Car Warranty is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and our workshop enquiries.

Information we collect

When you send an enquiry we typically collect your name, phone number, email address, vehicle registration, a description of the fault, and any documents or photographs you choose to attach.

If you visit the website we may also collect technical data such as browser type, pages viewed and approximate location derived from IP address. If you accept analytics cookies we use Google Analytics for that, as described in our cookies policy.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to enquiries, diagnose and quote for work, coordinate warranty or insurance authorisation where you ask us to, and keep you updated until the vehicle is collected.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) processes page views and events such as a successful enquiry submit so we can see which pages help people contact us. Those analytics events do not include your name, email, phone number or message. Google may process this technical data outside the UK.

We do not sell your details. Enquiry and repair details are only shared with a warranty provider, insurer, parts supplier or recovery partner where that is needed to carry out the job you asked us to do.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and repair records are kept for as long as needed to complete the work and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting, warranty and complaint handling — typically up to six years.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold, ask us to correct it, or object to certain uses. To do that, email hello@warrantyrepaircentre.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
